The O2 Arena
The O2 Arena, commonly known as the O2 (stylised as The O2 arena), is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the centre of the O2 entertainment complex on the Greenwich Peninsula in southeast London. It opened in its present form in 2007. It has the second-highest seating capacity of any indoor venue in the United Kingdom, behind the Manchester Arena, and in 2008 was the world's busiest music arena. As of 2022, it is the ninth-largest building in the world by volume. The arena was built under the Millennium Dome, a large dome-shaped building built to house an exhibition celebrating the turn of the third millennium; as the structure still stands over the arena, ''The Dome'' remains a name in common usage for the venue. The arena, as well as the overall O2 complex, is named after its primary sponsor, the telecommunications company O2, a subsidiary of Virgin Media O2. History Following the closure of the Millennium Experience at the end of 2000, the Millennium Dome was leased to ...

The O2
The O2 is a large entertainment district on the Greenwich peninsula in South East London, England, including an indoor arena, a music club, a Cineworld cinema, an exhibition space, piazzas, bars, and restaurants. It was built largely within the former Millennium Dome, a large dome-shaped canopy built to house an exhibition celebrating the turn of the third millennium; consequently ''The Dome'' remains a name in common usage for the venue. It is sometimes referred to as The O2 Arena, but that name properly refers to an indoor arena within The O2. Naming rights to the district were purchased by the mobile telephone provider O2 from its developers, Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), during the development of the district. AEG owns the long-term lease on the O2 Arena and surrounding leisure space. From the closure of the original Millennium Experience exhibition occupying the site, several ways of reusing the Millennium Dome's shell were proposed and then rejected. The re ...

Dioxygen
There are several known allotropes of oxygen. The most familiar is molecular oxygen (O2), present at significant levels in Earth's atmosphere and also known as dioxygen or triplet oxygen. Another is the highly reactive ozone (O3). Others are: *Atomic oxygen (O1), a free radical. * Singlet oxygen (O2*), one of two metastable states of molecular oxygen. * Tetraoxygen (O4), another metastable form. * Solid oxygen, existing in six variously colored phases, of which one is and another one metallic. Atomic oxygen Atomic oxygen, denoted O(3P) or O(3P), is very reactive, as the single atoms of oxygen tend to quickly bond with nearby molecules. On Earth's surface, it exists naturally for a very short time. In outer space, the presence of ample ultraviolet radiation results in a low Earth orbit atmosphere in which 96% of the oxygen occurs in atomic form. Ryan D. McCulla, Saint Louis University (2010). /acswebcontent.acs.org/prfar/2010/reports/P11141.html "Atomic Oxygen O(3P ...

Ring 2 (Aarhus)

It is part of the Danish national road network and is numbered O2, the letter 'O' denoting it is a ring road. The total length of the road is about 14.5 km. Ring 2 is composed of 6 stretches of road, from ''Ringvej Syd'' in the South in Viby to ''Vejlby Ringvej'' in the North in Vejlby and Risskov. Ringvej Syd, the southernmost section of the ring road, is connected to the rest of Ring 2 via a small 1.4 km stretch of Skanderborgvej. Other than the small connecting stretch, the long intercity motorway of Skanderborgvej is not a part of Ring 2. History Ideas and plans for construction of another ring road around Aarhus began in the 1930s, before the first ring road of Ring 1 was even finished. Construction of Ring 2 commenced in the 1950s but was then put on hold for decades, due to uncertainty ...

O2 (O-Town Album)
''O2'' is the second studio album by American boy band O-Town. It was released by J Records on November 11, 2002 in the United States. ''O2'' was O-Town's last album to feature Ashley Parker Angel as a member of the group. Background The lead single, " These Are the Days", only reached number 64 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and failed to match the success of "Liquid Dreams" or "All or Nothing". The second single, "I Showed Her", failed to chart anywhere. However, the album showed more creative input from the band, as they co-wrote six of the songs. Despite this, they soon disbanded the following year. Critical reception AllMusic editor found that "backed by buoyant beats and haunting melodies old, new, borrowed and blue, flavored with the usual lyrics of love and loss (many penned by members of the band), O-Town transcends the above pitfalls on an album that stands strong amidst the boy-band world." Commercial Performance ''O2'' debuted and peaked at number 28 on the US ' ...
