Nonagram
In geometry, an enneagram (🟙 U+1F7D9) is a nine-pointed plane figure. It is sometimes called a nonagram, nonangle, or enneagon. The word 'enneagram' combines the numeral prefix ''ennea-'' with the Greek suffix '' -gram''. The ''gram'' suffix derives from ''γραμμῆ'' (''grammē'') meaning a line. Regular enneagram A regular enneagram is a 9-sided star polygon. It is constructed using the same points as the regular enneagon, but the points are connected in fixed steps. Two forms of regular enneagram exist: *One form connects every second point and is represented by the Schläfli symbol . *The other form connects every fourth point and is represented by the Schläfli symbol . There is also a star figure, or 3, made from the regular enneagon points but connected as a compound of three equilateral triangles. (If the triangles are alternately interlaced, this results in a Brunnian link.) This star figure is sometimes known as the ''star of Goliath'', after or 2, the ...

Slipknot (band)
Slipknot ( ) is an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995 by percussionist Shawn Crahan, former vocalist Anders Colsefni and bassist Paul Gray (American musician), Paul Gray. After several lineup changes in its early years, the band settled on nine members for more than a decade: Crahan, Gray, Joey Jordison, Craig Jones (musician), Craig Jones, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Jim Root. Slipknot is well known for its attention-grabbing image, aggressive style of music, energetic and chaotic live shows. The band rapidly rose to fame following the release of their debut album Slipknot (album), ''Slipknot'' in 1999. The 2001 follow-up album, ''Iowa (album), Iowa'', although darker and brutal in tone, made the band more popular. After a brief hiatus, Slipknot returned in 2004 with ''Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)'', before going on another hiatus and returning in 2008 with its fourth album, ''All Hope Is Gone'', w ...

Star Polygon
In geometry, a star polygon is a type of non-convex polygon. Regular star polygons have been studied in depth; while star polygons in general appear not to have been formally defined, Decagram (geometry)#Related figures, certain notable ones can arise through truncation operations on regular simple or star polygons. Branko Grünbaum identified two primary usages of this terminology by Johannes Kepler, one corresponding to the regular star polygons with List of self-intersecting polygons, intersecting edges that do not generate new vertices, and the other one to the isotoxal Concave polygon, concave simple polygons.Grünbaum & Shephard (1987). Tilings and Patterns. Section 2.5 Polygram (geometry), Polygrams include polygons like the pentagram, but also compound figures like the hexagram. One definition of a ''star polygon'', used in turtle graphics, is a polygon having ''q'' ≥ 2 Turn (geometry), turns (''q'' is called the turning number or Density (polygon), density), like in ...

Enneagon
In geometry, a nonagon () or enneagon () is a nine-sided polygon or 9-gon. The name ''nonagon'' is a prefix hybrid formation, from Latin (''nonus'', "ninth" + ''gonon''), used equivalently, attested already in the 16th century in French ''nonogone'' and in English from the 17th century. The name ''enneagon'' comes from Greek ''enneagonon'' (εννεα, "nine" + γωνον (from γωνία = "corner")), and is arguably more correct, though less common. Regular nonagon A '' regular nonagon'' is represented by Schläfli symbol and has internal angles of 140°. The area of a regular nonagon of side length ''a'' is given by :A = \fraca^2\cot\frac=(9/2)ar = 9r^2\tan(\pi/9) :::= (9/2)R^2\sin(2\pi/9)\simeq6.18182\,a^2, where the radius ''r'' of the inscribed circle of the regular nonagon is :r=(a/2)\cot(\pi/9) and where ''R'' is the radius of its circumscribed circle: :R = \sqrt=r\sec(\pi/9)=(a/2)\csc(\pi/9). Construction Although a regular nonagon is not constructible with ...

Heavy Metal Music
Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a Music genre, genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. With roots in blues rock, psychedelic rock and acid rock, heavy metal bands developed a thick, monumental sound characterized by distortion (music), distorted guitars, extended guitar solos, emphatic Beat (music), beats and loudness. In 1968, three of the genre's most famous pioneers – British bands Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple – were founded. Though they came to attract wide audiences, they were often derided by critics. Several American bands modified heavy metal into more accessible forms during the 1970s: the raw, sleazy sound and shock rock of Alice Cooper and Kiss (band), Kiss; the blues-rooted rock of Aerosmith; and the flashy guitar leads and party rock of Van Halen. During the mid-1970s, Judas Priest helped spur the genre's evolution by discarding much of its blues influence,Walser (1 ...

Fruits Of The Holy Spirit
The Fruit of the Holy Spirit (sometimes referred to as the Fruits of the Holy Spirit) is a Bible, biblical term that sums up nine attributes of a person or community living in accord with the Holy Spirit, according to Galatians 5, chapter 5 of the Epistle to the Galatians: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." The fruit is contrasted with the Galatians 5#Verses 19–21: Works of the Flesh, works of the flesh discussed in the previous verses."These qualities are the result of the work of the Holy Spirit in a Christian's life."[1] [1] Galatians 5:22–23 (New International Version). The Catholic Church follows the Latin Vulgate version of Galatians in recognizing twelve attributes of the Fruit: charity (''caritas''), joy (''gaudium''), peace (''pax''), patience (''patientia''), benignity (''benignitas''), goodness (''bonitas''), longanimity (''longanimitas''), mildness (''mansuetudo''), faith ('' ...

Baháʼí Symbols
There are several symbols used to express identification with the Baháʼí Faith: the Enneagram (geometry), nine-pointed star, a calligraphy known as the "Greatest Name", the Ringstone Symbol, or a five-pointed star. Nine-pointed star According to the abjad numerals, Abjad system of isopsephy, the word Baháʼ has a numerical equivalence of 9 (number), 9, and thus there is frequent use of the number 9 in Baháʼí symbols. The most commonly used symbol connected to the number 9 is the ''Enneagram (geometry), nine-pointed star'', ; there is no particular design of the nine-pointed star that is used more often than others. While the star is not a part of the teachings of the Baháʼí Faith, it is commonly used as an emblem representing "9", because of the association of number 9 with perfection, unity and Baháʼ. The number 9 also comes up several times in Baháʼí history and teachings. On the significance of the number 9, Shoghi Effendi wrote: Its use on gravestone markers ...

142857
142,857 is the natural number following 142,856 and preceding 142,858. It is both a Kaprekar number and a Cyclic number. Cyclic number 142857 is the best-known cyclic number in base 10, being the six repeating digits of (0.). If 142857 is multiplied by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6, the answer will be a cyclic permutation of itself, and will correspond to the repeating digits of , , , or respectively: : 1 × 142,857 = 142,857 : 2 × 142,857 = 285,714 : 3 × 142,857 = 428,571 : 4 × 142,857 = 571,428 : 5 × 142,857 = 714,285 : 6 × 142,857 = 857,142 : 7 × 142,857 = 999,999 If multiplying by an integer greater than 7, there is a simple process to get to a cyclic permutation of 142857. By adding the rightmost six digits (ones through hundred thousands) to the remaining digits and repeating this process until only six digits are left, it will result in a cyclic permutation of 142857: : 142857 × 8 = 1142856 : 1 + 142856 = 142857 : 142857 × 815 = 116428455 : 116 + 428455 = 428571 : 1 ...

Enneagram Of Personality
The Enneagram of Personality, or simply the Enneagram, is a pseudoscientific model of the human psyche which is principally understood and taught as a typology of nine interconnected personality types. The origins and history of ideas associated with the Enneagram of Personality are disputed. Contemporary approaches are principally derived from the teachings of the Bolivian psycho-spiritual teacher Oscar Ichazo from the 1950s and the Chilean psychiatrist Claudio Naranjo from the 1970s. Naranjo's theories were also influenced by earlier teachings about personality by George Gurdjieff and the Fourth Way tradition in the first half of the 20th century. As a typology, the Enneagram defines nine personality types (sometimes called "enneatypes"), which are represented by the points of a geometric figure called an '' enneagram'', in which indicate some of the principal connections between the types. There have been different schools of thought among Enneagram teachers and thei ...

Fourth Way Enneagram
''In Search of the Miraculous: Fragments of an Unknown Teaching'' is a 1949 book by Russian philosopher P. D. Ouspensky which recounts his meeting and subsequent association with George Gurdjieff. According to Sophia Wellbeloved, the book is generally regarded as the most comprehensive account of Gurdjieff's system of thought ever published, as it often forms the basis from which Gurdjieff and his teachings are understood. Contents ''In Search of the Miraculous'' is Ouspensky's recollection of his first meeting and subsequent association with George Gurdjieff and the esoteric teaching that Gurdjieff imparted to him. This teaching still exists today in various forms; Ouspensky himself taught it to various groups from 1921–1947. Throughout the book, Ouspensky never refers to Gurdjieff directly, only using the single initial "G.", but it is common knowledge that this "G." was Gurdjieff, who taught Ouspensky an ancient esoteric system of self-development commonly known as the ...
