Miss A (; stylized in all caps or miss A) was a South Korean girl group formed by AQ Entertainment, a subsidiary of JYP Entertainment. The group debuted in July 2010 with the single " Bad Girl Good Girl" as a quartet consisting of Fei, Jia, Min, and Suzy. Their debut song reached number one on the Gaon Digital Chart, which made them the first act ever to have their debut song reach the top of the chart; the song also became the best-performing single of 2010 on the chart. Their debut studio album, '' A Class'' (2011) produced two more number one songs, and their follow-up extended plays, ''Touch'' and ''Independent Women Part III'' (both 2012), proved furthermore success. Meng Jia (; born. February 3, 1989), simply known as Jia, is a Chinese singer and actress. She was a member of South Korean girl group Miss A until her contract expired in May 2016. After leaving Miss A, Meng Jia signed with Banana Culture Music in 2016 to pursue her solo career in China. Life and career 1989–2009: Early life and career beginnings Meng Jia was born on February 3, 1989, as the only child of her family. ''M Countdown'' () is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet from the CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. It features appearances by popular music artists who also perform live on stage. First hosted by Leeteuk, Shindong, and Kangin of Super Junior, the show has had various celebrity emcees through the years. As of March 2025, ''M Countdown'' is hosted by Sung Han-bin of Zerobaseone and Myung Jae-hyun of BoyNextDoor. Broadcast ''M Countdown'' airs live on domestic television at 6PM KST every Thursday.
