Metallic Paint
Metallic paint, which may also be called metal flake (or incorrectly named polychromatic), is a type of paint that is most common on new automobiles, but is also used for other purposes. Metallic color, Metallic paint can reveal the contours of Coachwork, bodywork more than non-metallic, or "solid" paint. Close-up, the small metal flakes included in the paint create a metallic colour, sparkling effect mimicking a metal surface. Description Metallic paints, or just metallics, generally consist of a base coat with a clear "lacquer", usually a transparent acrylic polyurethane top coat, for protection and extra gloss. "Flop", or "flip-flop", refers to the difference between the amount or hue of light reflected at different angles from a metallic paint surface. Kinechromatic Art
Kinechromatic art is a form of art in which the image, particularly in reference to the colour perceived by the viewer, changes due to some form of movement. The term "kinechromatic" was coined in 1951 by Mario Pedrosa in an article in '' Tribuna da Imprensa'' to refer to the work of Brazilian artist, Abraham Palatnik. Palatnik initially created electro-mechanical devices, based on the kaleidoscopic principle, which projected a constantly changing pattern of coloured light on a screen. Later devices exposed coloured moving parts of the machinery. In all cases, the shape and colour observed were changed by the devices for a stationary observer. BMW 5 Series
The BMW 5 Series is an executive car manufactured and marketed by BMW since 1972. It is the successor to the BMW New Class sedans and is currently in its eighth generation. The car is sold as either a sedan or, since 1991, a station wagon (marketed as "Touring"). A 5-door fastback (marketed as "Gran Turismo") was sold between 2009 and 2017. Each successive generation has been given an internal ''G-code'' designation since 2017. Previously, a ''F-code'' designation was used between 2010 and 2016, while an ''E-code'' designation was used between 1972 and 2010. The BMW X1 is a line of cars produced by German marque BMW since 2009. BMW 3 Series
The BMW 3 series is a line of compact executive cars manufactured by the German automaker BMW since May 1975. It is the successor to the 02 series and has been produced in seven generations.
