Denpasar is one of the 93 City status in Indonesia, autonomous cities in Indonesia-equivalent to the Regency (Indonesia), regency status, which means it runs its own government and has the authority to regulate government affairs and the interests of the locals. A mayor is the title given to the highest head of government in an autonomous city, along with the Vice Mayor of Denpasar, vice mayor as a deputy in the government. Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Puspayoga (; born 7 July 1965) is an Indonesian politician and economist. He was the 10th Indonesia's Minister of Cooperatives and Small & Medium Enterprises under President Joko Widodo's Working Cabinet (Joko Widodo), Working Cabinet from 2014 to 2019. Previously, he served as the 4th Vice Governor of Bali from 2008 to 2013 and 3rd Mayor of Denpasar from 2000 to 2008.
