Mayor Of Beijing
The mayor of Beijing, officially the Mayor of the Beijing Municipal People's Government, is the head of Beijing, Beijing Municipality and leader of the Beijing Municipal People's Government. The mayor is elected by the Beijing Municipal People's Congress, and responsible to it and its Standing Committee. The mayor is a Civil service of the People's Republic of China, provincial level official and is responsible for the overall decision-making of the municipal government. The mayor is assisted by an executive vice mayor as well as several vice mayors. The mayor generally serves as the deputy secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and as a member of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, CCP Central Committee. National Emblem Of China

Li Yuan
Emperor Gaozu of Tang (7 April 566 – 25 June 635), born Li Yuan, courtesy name Shude, was the founding emperor of the Tang dynasty of China, reigning from 618 to 626 CE. Under the Sui dynasty, Li Yuan was the governor in the area of modern-day Shanxi, and was based in Taiyuan. In 615, Li Yuan was assigned to garrison Longxi. He gained much experience by dealing with the Göktürks of the north and was able to pacify them. Li Yuan was also able to gather support from these successes and, with the disintegration of the Sui dynasty in July 617, Li Yuan – urged on by his second son Li Shimin (, the eventual Emperor Taizong) – rose in rebellion. Using the title of "Great Chancellor" (), Li Yuan installed a puppet child emperor, Yang You, but eventually removed him altogether and established the Tang dynasty in 618 with himself as emperor. Liu Ji (politician)
Liu Ji (; 1887–1967) was a Chinese general and politician. Closely associated with Feng Yuxiang, he began his career by joining the Qing Imperial Army, then served under both the Beiyang and Nationalist regimes, and finally ended up joining Mao Zedong and holding political office in the Communist People's Republic of China. Life Liu was born in Zhongxiang, Hubei. He joined the Qing Imperial Army in 1905 and then studied at the Northeastern Military Academy in Shenyang, that was founded in 1906 by Viceroy Zhao Erxun. After graduation, he joined the New Army and served under Zhang Shaozeng. Later, he served under Feng Yuxiang, beginning a long association. After the Xinhai Revolution broke out, he returned to his native Hubei and served as the staff officer of the Hubei Governor's Office. Xue Dubi
Xue Dubi (; 1892-July 9, 1973) was a politician of the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China. He was born in Yuncheng, Shanxi. In 1911, at the age of 19, he joined the Tongmenghui. He was the 10th Republic-era mayor of Beijing as part of the Beiyang government. He later went over to the Kuomintang and served in the various positions in the Nationalist government in both Nanjing and Chongqing. After the creation of the People's Republic, Xue chose to remain in the mainland. He died in Shanghai at the age of 82. Liu Menggeng (; 1881 – after 1937) was a politician and physician of the Republic of China and Manchukuo. He was born in Qinhuangdao, Hebei. Background and disappearance Menggeng was the 8th Republican mayor of Beijing. He was affiliated with the Zhili clique, which was part of the Beiyang government. After the creation of Manchukuo, he accepted a Japanese offer to be the collaborationist governor of Rehe Province.
