First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is of three or more days scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. The etymology of "first-class cricket" is unknown, but the term was used loosely before it acquired official status in 1895, following a meeting of leading English clubs. At a meeting of the International Cricket Council, Imperial Cricket Conference (ICC) in 1947, it was formally defined on a global basis. A significant omission of the ICC ruling was any attempt to define first-class cricket retrospectively. Niaz Stadium is a Cricket field, cricket ground in Hyderabad, Pakistan, Hyderabad, Pakistan. The ground can accommodate 15,000 spectators, and hosted its first test cricket, Test match in 1973. It was established in November 1961 by the then Commissioner of Hyderabad, Niaz Ahmed, after whom the stadium is named. Abbottabad Cricket Stadium
The Abbottabad Cricket Stadium is a cricket ground located in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It was established in 2003 by the Pakistan Cricket Board, and was declared as a first-class cricket venue in 2010. It has hosted first-class and List A games for both Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cricket team and Federally Administered Tribal Areas, as well as training camps for the Pakistan national team. Muhammad Ali Jinnah (born Mahomedali Jinnahbhai; 25 December 187611 September 1948) was a barrister, politician, and the founder of Pakistan. Jinnah served as the leader of the All-India Muslim League from 1913 until the inception of Pakistan on 14 August 1947 and then as Pakistan's first governor-general until his death. Sargodha Cricket Stadium is a cricket stadium located in Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan. It is primarily used for staging cricket matches. It was established in 1940 and presently has a seating capacity of 40,000. The stadium hosted its first One Day International in 1992, between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Southend Club Cricket Stadium
Southend Club Cricket Stadium (previously known as the Defence Cricket Stadium) is a cricket ground in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The ground has hosted only one Test match, that being the 1st Test between Pakistan and Zimbabwe, from 1 December to 6 December 1993. Pakistan won that match by 131 runs, mainly due to Waqar Younis taking 7–91 in the first innings and 6–44 in the second. This was the first match of Younis as captain of Pakistan, standing in for Wasim Akram. Younis became Pakistan's youngest Test captain. The stadium remains an approved venue for Test cricket. Sheikhupura Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in the city of Sheikhupura in Punjab province of Pakistan. It is currently used mostly for cricket matches. The stadium can accommodate 15,000 spectators and hosted its first Test match in 1996, when Pakistan played Zimbabwe. This was followed by another test a year later between Pakistan and South Africa.
