K. Wilson, known professionally as kwn (pronounced ''kay-wuhn'') and formerly k1, is a British singer, songwriter, rapper, and producer. She is best known for her singles "worst behaviour", whose remix featured Kehlani, and "do what i say". She was nominated for Best New International Act at the 2025 BET Awards, was named ''Billboard'''s R&B Rookie of the Month, and was included on the NME 100 list of "essential emerging artists". Early life Kwn was born and grew up in Walthamstow, East London. She has two older sisters. Her father is Nigerian and her mother is Irish. She started playing piano and drums in her childhood. She realized by the time she was 11 years old that she wanted to become a musician, after which she started making music and releasing it on SoundCloud. Jordan Adebowale Adetunji (born 25 February 1999) is an English-Northern Irish rapper and singer. He gained recognition in 2024 with his breakout global hit "Kehlani". In 2023, Adetunji was scouted by Oli Sykes and signed to RCA Records. In 2024, following the rise in popularity of "Kehlani", Adetunji signed with 300 Entertainment and Warner Records UK. Early life Adetunji was born in Croydon, London. When he was 10 years old, his mother made the decision to move to Belfast because of how "quiet" it seemed in comparison to Croydon. Adetunji is of Nigerian descent. He attended Ashfield Boys' High School where he learned to play musical instruments, focusing on trumpet lessons. Kehlani Ashley Parrish ( ; born April 24, 1995) is an American singer, songwriter and dancer. She is originally from Oakland, California, and achieved initial fame as a member of the teen pop group PopLyfe in 2011. East London Arts & Music (also known as ELAM) is a free school sixth form located in Bromley-by-Bow in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, England. History Established in 2014, ELAM is for students aged 16 to 19 who wish to pursue a career in music, games design or film and TV. In April 2017 ELAM moved into its permanent home in Bromley-by-Bow, East London. Prior to this ELAM was based at School 21 in Stratford.
