Commander (Cdr) (, Kk) is a senior-grade officer rank in the Swedish Navy, ranking below captain and above lieutenant commander. During the 1900s, the flag captain served as chief of staff of ''Flaggen'', the staff of the Chief of the Coastal Fleet. A shoulder mark, also called a rank slide or slip-on, is a flat cloth sleeve worn on the shoulder strap of a uniform. It may bear rank or other insignia.
