Junior colleges (JC) are pre-university institutions in Singapore that offer two-year pre-university courses that leads to either the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advanced Level (A-Level) or the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB - offered by only Anglo-Chinese School, School of the Arts, Singapore Sports School, and St. Joseph’s Institution). Admission to junior college is based on attaining an aggregate raw score of 20 points or less in the O-Level examination. The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) is a post-secondary education institution and statutory board under the purview of the Ministry of Education in Singapore. Temasek Junior College (TJC) is a government-run junior college temporarily located in Tampines. Its original location in Bedok South is currently undergoing reconstruction as part of the JC Rejuvenation Programme. Eunoia Junior College (EJC) is a junior college in Singapore which offers Integrated Programme (IP) with Catholic High School, Singapore Chinese Girls' School and CHIJ Saint Nicholas Girls' School. Catholic Junior College (CJC) is a junior college in Singapore, offering a two-year course for pre-university students leading to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advanced Level examination. Founded in 1975, Catholic Junior College was the third junior college to be established in Singapore. Art Elective Programme
The Art Elective Program (AEP) is offered by schools in Singapore that have obtained permission from the Ministry of Education. This programme is also known as Higher Art and can also be offered as a Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (O-level) subject. Lessons for the AEP are usually conducted in a separate classroom, sometimes after regular classes.
