An indoor practice facility is a specialized structure designed to provide athletes with a controlled environment for training and practice sessions indoors. The sports are typically outdoor sports such as gridiron football, football, Association football, soccer, track and field, baseball/softball, lacrosse, Ultimate (sport), ultimate Frisbee, rugby football, rugby, and pickleball. The facility can also include a weight room, locker rooms, and storage space for sports equipment. The field is typically synthetic turf and Line marker (sports), line marks can be drawn for the sports complex, multi-purpose facility. The UPMC Rooney Sports Complex is a multipurpose, multisport training, sports science, and sports medical complex of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Since their establishment as a professional football team in 1919, the Packers have played home games in eight stadiums. Their first home was Hagemeister Park, where they played from 1919 to 1922, including their first two seasons in the National Football League (NFL). The LSU Indoor Practice Facility, built in 1991, is a climate-controlled 83,580 square feet facility connected to the Football Operations Center and adjacent to LSU's four outdoor 100-yard football practice fields.
