Ijji
ijji was a free multiplayer game portal website. Games hosted at ijji ranged from traditional shooters and MMORPGs to more accessible casual games, all of which were free to download and play, and with the majority featuring competitive multiplayer gameplay. The ijji website opened on July 7, 2006. The American-based game portal has published some well known worldwide titles that include Alliance of Valiant Arms, GunZ, and Soldier Front. In 2009 ijji decided to focus more on the "hardcore" gaming segment, by releasing titles like '' Alliance of Valiant Arms'' and '' Soul of the Ultimate Nation''. ijji later released Genesis A.D into open beta in November 2010. ijji surpassed 10 million unique registered users in November 2009 and created a new logo for their game portal. The old orange ijji logo was replaced by a new metallic looking logo. In this same month, all flash games on ijji.com that required no download were closed and removed from the game portal. Drift City
''Drift City'' (also known as Skid Rush (스키드러쉬) in South Korea) is a massively multiplayer online racing video game developed by NPluto and sponsored by several major automotive companies such as Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and U1 Technology. The standalone iOS and Android game (Drift City Mobile) was released on August 11, 2015, but has since shut down. On February 22, 2016, GamesCampus announced that the Drift City USA servers would close. On March 21, 2016, the USA server was shut down, although the Korean server is still playable. On April 2, 2021, Arario announced that the Drift City Evolution server would be closing. On May 1, 2021, the Japanese server closed and the only remaining official server is the Korean server, hosted by Masangsoft. ''Special Force'' (named ''Soldier Front'' in North America) is an online free-to-play first-person shooter developed by the South Korean game developer Dragonfly. Dragonfly continues to expand the game around the world and plans to expand into the Middle Eastern, Indian, and Russian markets. The Indonesian version of the game was discontinued in March 2012. ''Soldier Front'' is currently being published by Aeria Games for North American users. In October 2009, a European server was added to this version of the game. Softnyx
Softnyx Ltd is a South Korean video game developer and distributor that was founded in 2001 by Jinho Kim in Seoul. The company first released the hit game GunBound in 2003, introducing Indonesian servers in April, Chinese servers in June and an International server in August. GunBound accumulated approximately 5 million registered players in the first year of release and soon turned on more servers intending to be used by players in a specific country in order to reduce the language barrier and improve latency between players. In 2004 Softnyx released a closed beta of the game Rakion which was later publicly released in March 2005 to Korean players and October to International Players. ''Alliance of Valiant Arms'' (abbreviated as A.V.A, ko, 아바, translit=Aba, 简体中文:《战地之王》, 繁體中文:《戰地之王》) is a free-to-play online first-person shooter video game, developed by now-defunct Red Duck, Inc. using Unreal Engine 3. Since then, Neowiz has taken over the development and publishing of the game after acquiring its intellectual property.
