Ice Show
An ice show is an entertainment production which is primarily performed by ice skaters. The major ice shows were founded between 1936 and 1943, when professional figure skaters began to appear in shows, in hotels, at fairs, and "at any place a sheet of ice could be set up" since the beginning of the 20th century in North America and Europe. They were produced and toured North America, Europe, and throughout the world for many years in the years following World War II. According to figure skating historian James R. Hines, ice shows "took spectacular skating to large audiences, contributing to the development of the sport's first major fan base". Such shows may primarily be skating exhibitions, or may be musical and/or dramatic in nature, using skating as a medium in order to accompany a musical work or to present a story. Revue
A revue is a type of multi-act popular theatre, theatrical entertainment that combines music, dance, and sketch comedy, sketches. The revue has its roots in 19th century popular entertainment and melodrama but grew into a substantial cultural presence of its own during its golden years from 1916 to 1932. Though most famous for their visual spectacle, revues frequently satirized contemporary figures, news or literature. Similar to the related subforms of operetta and musical theatre, the revue art form brings together music, dance and sketches to create a compelling show. In contrast to these, however, revue does not have an overarching storyline. Yokohama

Dreams On Ice (show)
Dreams on Ice (ドリーム・オン・アイス) is an annual ice show produced by CIC Co., Ltd. It takes place at KOSÉ Shin-Yokohama Skate Center at the end of June and early July at the conclusion of the figure skating season, featuring a cast of Japanese senior and junior skaters with international skaters from overseas. Dreams on Ice is different from other shows due to the Japanese Skating Federation's involvement in the selection of national skaters, and international skaters are only invited as guests. The Ice (show)
is an annual touring ice show in Japan held over the summer at the end of July and early August with a cast of national top skaters from Japan and around the world. The show includes a variety of group numbers, collaborations between top singles skaters, and dance battles. History Originally labeled a midsummer ice festival, The Ice debuted in Aichi in 2007, featuring Mao Asada and Mai Asada. In the early years, the show was sponsored by Olympus from 2007 to 2010. Lotte took over the title sponsorship from 2011. After the "Great East Japan Earthquake" in 2011, the shows in Osaka and Hachinoe in 2011, and the show in Nikko in 2012 were charity performances benefitting the recovery effort. Prince Ice World
Prince Ice World (プリンスアイスワールド) is the oldest ice show in Japan and was founded by Prince Hotels, Inc. in 1978. The show has a different theme each year and is known for its elaborately produced group numbers performed by the Prince Ice World company that consists of about thirty world-class skaters. National and international top skaters are invited as guests. The show is produced by Seibu Group and Prince Hotels with Blue Muse Co., Ltd. as the official sponsor. Art on Ice is a Switzerland, Swiss figure skating gala. It combines performances of the world's best figure skaters with those of international music stars. The gala is held annually at the Hallenstadion in Zurich, followed by events in other cities such as Fribourg and Davos. In previous years, Basel, Lausanne, and St. Moritz were also among the venues. Fantasy On Ice
is an annual touring ice show in Japan produced by CIC Co., Ltd. The show emerged from the "Philippe Candeloro Japan Tour 2001", named after retired French figure skater Philippe Candeloro, and was held under the name "Fantasy on Ice" the following two years. After a seven-year break, the tour was revived in 2010 and got expanded to larger venues in the metropolitan area of Tokyo in 2014 and Kobe in 2015. From 2015 onwards, Fantasy on Ice was held around June, lasting one month and generally involving four stops in different Prefectures of Japan, prefectures across Japan. Stars On Ice
Stars on Ice is a touring figure skating show produced by IMG. It was co-founded in 1986 by Bob Kain, IMG executive, and Scott Hamilton, the 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist in men's figure skating. The production is a theatrical show featuring a small cast of elite skaters who perform together in ensemble as well as solo numbers. Hamilton retired from regular touring in 2001. Stars on Ice was originally conceived as an ice show for adults, without the children's cartoon characters typical of other commercial ice shows of the period such as Ice Capades or Disney on Ice. Champions On Ice
Champions on Ice was a touring ice show in the United States. The show featured a large cast of both professional and Olympic-eligible figure skaters along with novelty acts such as skating acrobats. The shows were focused primarily on solo performances by the skaters rather than ensemble work or acting out stories. The tour was originally run by Tom Collins Enterprises. Collins first organized the tour following the 1969 World Figure Skating Championships. It was initially known as the "Tour of World Figure Skating Champions", and featured top amateur skaters who performed under an arrangement with the International Skating Union (ISU). When the ISU liberalized its amateur status rules in 1990, Collins began to add professional skaters to the tour, as well as active eligible competitors.
