Government Of Slovakia
The Government of the Slovak Republic () exercises executive authority in Slovakia. It is led by the Prime Minister of Slovakia, who is nominated by the President of Slovakia and is usually the leader of the majority party or a majority coalition after an election to the National Council of the Slovak Republic. The Cabinet appointed by the president on the prime minister's recommendation must gain a vote of confidence in the National Council. Role and powers of the Government As the chief formulator of the nation's public policy under the Slovak Constitution, the Government has the authority to make major policies on the national economy and social security. Tomáš Taraba
Tomáš Taraba (born 13 February 1980) is a Slovak politician who has been serving as Deputy Prime Minister of Slovakia and Minister of Environment in the Fico's Fourth Cabinet, Fourth cabinet of Robert Fico since 25 October 2023. With a previous business background, Taraba was elected to the National Council (Slovakia), National Council in 2020 Slovak parliamentary election, 2020 on the list of People's Party Our Slovakia, Kotlebists – People's Party Our Slovakia. Matúš Šutaj Eštok
Matúš Šutaj Eštok (born 4 February 1987) is a Slovak politician who has served as the Minister of Interior of Slovakia since 2023. He was an MP of the National Council. Early life and education In 2011, Šutaj Eštok majored in law from Comenius University. He worked as the lawyer for the Comenius University. Samuel Migaľ
Samuel Migaľ (born 30 June 1982) is a Slovak politician and former TV host. He has served as the minister of Investment, Regional Development and Informatics of Slovakia since 2025. Biography Migaľ was born on 30 June 1982 in Košice. He attended a forestry trade school in Vranov nad Topľou and afterwards studied media communication at the University of Ss. Richard Raši
Richard Raši (born 2 April 1971 in Košice) is a Slovak physician and politician who served as Slovakia's Deputy Prime Minister for Investments and Information. A member of the Voice – Social Democracy () political party, Raši previously served as Mayor of the city of Košice. He also served from 3 June 2008 until 8 June 2010 as Minister of Health in the Fico's First Cabinet, First cabinet of Robert Fico. Richard Takáč
Richard Takáč (born 10 May 1982) is a Slovak politician who has served as Minister of Agriculture of Slovakia since 2023. He is also a former deputy of the Trenčín self-governing region and a deputy of the city of Prievidza. Early life and education Takáč was born on 10 May 1982 in Prievidza. His father was a miner whilst his mother worked as a saleswoman. Jozef Ráž (politician)
Jozef Ráž (born 17 July 1979) is a Slovak politician. He currently serves as the minister of Transport. Early life The son of namesake singer Jozef Ráž, he was born on 17 July 1979 in Bratislava. Ráž studied international business at the University of Economics in Bratislava and law at the Bratislava University of Law. Career After graduation, Ráž had a career in civil service. Between 2005 and 2010 he was at the minister of defense. In 2010 he joined the Slovenská pošta, where he became a board member. In 2016 the director of Slovenská pošta Tomáš Drucker became the health minister and made Ráž his chief of staff.
