Gavin David Free (born 23 May 1988) is an English actor, director, cinematographer and internet personality. He is best known for his work at Rooster Teeth—where he formerly served as creative director—featuring in many of their projects, including the Achievement Hunter gaming division. He directed season 7 of ''Red vs. Blue'', as well as its miniseries '' Relocated''. Free is also known as the creator and co-host of the YouTube-based web series '' The Slow Mo Guys'', alongside his friend Daniel Gruchy. The series features slow-motion footage of various stunts and experiments, garnering over 2.2 billion views since its launch in 2010. In April 2011, the channel was voted the winner of YouTube's ''On The Rise'' program. In September 2012, their episode involving crushing watermelons was featured on ''The Tonight Show''. RTX was a series of annual Video game culture, gaming and Internet convention (meeting), conventions created by Rooster Teeth held primarily in Austin, Texas and for a period of time also Sydney, New South Wales, Australia and London, England, UK. Starting as a small community gathering of 600 people in 2011, RTX significantly expanded in its following years, housing an estimated 62,000 people in 2017. RTX gained attention for its "celebration of that convergence of gaming and Internet culture." In 2016, Tech Crunch described it as "SXSW meets San Diego Comic-Con International, Comic Con." ''Lazer Team'' is a 2015 American Science fiction film, science fiction action comedy film directed, produced, and co-written by Matt Hullum. The first feature film produced by Rooster Teeth, it stars Burnie Burns, Gavin Free, Michael Jones (actor), Michael Jones, Colton Dunn, Allie DeBerry, and Alan Ritchson. The film follows the Lazer Team, a group of four who find themselves responsible for the fate of the planet upon discovering an alien crash site containing a battle suit. Phantom is Vision Research's brand of high-speed video cameras. The Phantom TMX 7510 is currently the company's fastest camera as of November 2022. It can record video at up to 76,000 frames per second (fps) at its maximum resolution of 1280 x 800, and can record at 1,750,000 frames per second at a resolution of 1280 x 32, or in binned mode with a resolution of 640 x 64. Lord Williams's School is a co-educational secondary school with academy status in Thame, Oxfordshire, England. The school takes children from the age of 11 through to the age of 18.
