Fullbore Target Rifle
Fullbore target rifle (TR) is a precision rifle shooting-sport discipline governed by the International Confederation of Fullbore Rifle Associations (ICFRA). TR uses single-shot rifles, usually chambered in .308 Winchester, .308 calibre, with circular "bullseye" targets at distances of 300–1000 yards. The term "fullbore" refers to the relatively large centerfire calibres used. In contrast, smallbore rifle shooting uses firearms chambered for relatively low-powered Rimfire ammunition, rimfire cartridges (typically .22 long rifle, .22LR). The sport evolved as a British and Commonwealth of Nations discipline in the late 1960s. Its development was heavily influenced by the British National Rifle Association (United Kingdom), National Rifle Association (NRA). Connaught Cadet Training Centre
Connaught Cadet Training Centre (Connaught CTC) (French: ''Centre d'instruction des cadets de Connaught''; ''CIC Connaught'') is a training centre for Royal Canadian Army Cadets, Royal Canadian Air Cadets, and Royal Canadian Sea Cadets since 1989. It is located at the Connaught Range and Primary Training Centre (CRPTC), in Ottawa, Ontario, and trains approximately 500 cadets each summer in 3, 4, 6, and 9 week courses. Brian Glover (2 April 1934 – 24 July 1997) was an English actor and writer. He worked as a teacher and professional wrestler before commencing an acting career which included films, many roles on British television and work on the stage. De Danske Skytteforeninger DDS (The Danish Shooting Associations) founded in 1862 was Denmark's oldest sports organization until it was merged with Danske Gymnastik- & Idrætsforeninger 1 January 2013. After the merger DDS was split in two with ''DGI Skydning'' (''DGI Shooting'') administering competitions, weapons registration, political and organizational issues, while ''Skydebaneforeningen Danmark'' (''Shooting Range Association of Denmark'') handles advice and financial support to clubs and shooting ranges.
