Fourth Woidke Cabinet
The fourth Woidke cabinet is the current state government of Brandenburg formed on December 11, 2024. Incumbent Social Democratic Party (SPD) Minister President Dietmar Woidke leads the coalition of his party and the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW). This government ushered in the BSW as governing partner in any government in Germany for the first time as a so-called "red–purple coalition", two days ahead of their entrance into the Voigt cabinet in Thuringia. Excluding the Minister-President, the cabinet comprises ten ministers. Among them seven are members of the SPD, two are from the BSW and one without party affiliation nominated by BSW. Dietmar Woidke
Hubert Dietmar Woidke (born 22 October 1961) is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany. Since August 2013, Woidke has served as Minister President of Brandenburg. Political career Woidke has been a member of the SPD since 1993. He was elected to the state parliament for the first time 1994 and since that time he is a member of the Parliament. His constituency was initially Spree-Neisse II, he won the right in 1994 and 1999. After the direct mandate he could not win in 2004 and moved just over the national list in the parliament, he entered 2009 in the constituency Spree-Neisse I, which he won directly. 2024 Brandenburg Landtag
4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. The Second Woidke cabinet was the state government of Brandenburg between 2014 and 2019, sworn in on 5 November 2014 after Dietmar Woidke was elected as List of Minister-Presidents of Brandenburg, Minister-President of Brandenburg by the members of the Landtag of Brandenburg.
