Classic Maya (or properly Classical Chʼoltiʼ) is the oldest historically attested member of the Mayan language family. It is the main language documented in the pre-Columbian inscriptions of the classical period of the Maya civilization. It is also the common ancestor of the Cholan branch of the Mayan language family. Contemporary descendants of classical Maya include Chʼol and Chʼortiʼ. Speakers of these languages can understand many Classic Mayan words. Classic Maya is quite a morphologically binding language, and most words in the language consist of multiple morphemes with relatively little irregularity. It shows some regional and temporal variations, which is completely normal considering the long period of use of the language. Even so, the texts make it clear that it is a single, uniform language. Emy Roeder
Emy Roeder (30 January 1890 – 7 February 1971) was a modern German sculptor born in Würzburg, Germany. During the first third of the twentieth century she was one of a number of women that were associated with the German Expressionist movement of Modern art. She was the first woman to achieve ''Master Student'' of sculpture as a student at the Berlin Academy In 1937 her work was labeled Degenerate art by the Nazis. After World War II she was arrested in Italy by the Allies because she was a German citizen and then sent to an internment camp. She received the Villa Romana prize in 1936, and was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for her life work in 1960. She died, aged 81, in Mainz. Emy Jackson (エミー・ジャクソン, born Emy Eaton, 2 July 1945) is a Japanese female singer. Biography Emy Jackson was born in Essex, England, and moved to Yokohama as a teenager. She found work as a disc jockey for the ''Good Hit Parade'' on Radio Kanto. In April 1965 her debut single ''Crying in a Storm'' was released. Jackson was promoted as a foreign artist. The single peaked at No. 4 on the chart of foreign releases in ''Music Life'' and No. 6 on the ''Turn Table Top 50''. She is the first Japanese artist to have sold a million records singing in English (for ''Crying in a Storm''). Emy Jackson's initial musical career was a brief one. Career Kat began his career in 1997, focusing on fashion photography, portraits, and commercial advertising. Emily "Emy" Storey (born March 31, 1981) is a Montreal-based art director, graphic designer and illustrator. Born in Kinderhook, New York, Storey moved to Montreal to study Design Art at Concordia University, where she received her Fine Arts degree in 2003. Storey's company, Storey Elementary, produces graphic and website design, develops logos, ads, promotional items, band merchandise and album art for clients that include Showtime, Atlantic Records, Warner Music Group, Sanctuary Records, Vapor Records, Maverick Records and Superclose Music.
