Emart Inc. () is the largest retailer in South Korea. The retailer was founded on 12 November 1993, by Shinsegae, as the first discount retailer in South Korea. There were 160 stores across the Country as of December 2016. Emart is South Korea's oldest and largest discount store chain, with a total sales volume exceeding US$9.4 billion in 2009. Emart was the first South Korean retailer to open a retail store in China, opening 27 stores before exiting the country in 2017. Emart has another brand Emart-traders. It is almost same with Costco. Shinsegae Inc. (, ) is a South Korean department store Franchising, franchise, along with several other businesses, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. The firm is an affiliate of Shinsegae Group, South Korea's leading retail ''chaebol'', and one of the big three department store firms in Korea, along with Lotte Corporation, Lotte and Hyundai Department Store. Its flagship store in Centum City, Busan, was the world's largest department store at , surpassing Macy's flagship Macy's Herald Square, Herald Square in New York City in 2009. New Seasons Market is a chain of neighborhood grocery stores operating in the Portland, Oregon metro area, and southwestern Washington. Some of the products offered are organic and produced locally in the Pacific Northwest, but conventional groceries are also sold. Truong Hai Group Corporation (THACO; abbreviation for former name) () is a Vietnamese conglomerate. The company is a member of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA).
