Tag (game)
Tag (also called touch and go AG'', tig, it, tiggy, tips, tick, tip) is a playground game involving two or more players chasing other players in an attempt to "tag" and mark them out of play, usually by touching with a hand. There are many variations; most forms have no teams, scores, or equipment. Usually, when a person is tagged, the tagger says, "Tag, you're 'it'!" The last one tagged during tag is "it" for the next round. The game is known by other names in various parts of the world, including "running and catching" in India and "catch and cook" in the Middle East. Basic rules Players (two or more) decide who is going to be "it", often using a counting-out game such as eeny, meeny, miny, moe. The player selected to be "it" then chases the others, attempting to "tag" one of them (by touching them with a hand) as the others try to avoid being tagged. A tag makes the tagged player "it". In some variations, the previous "it" is no longer "it" and the game can continue indefi ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

The Works (Nik Kershaw Album)
The Works is the fourth studio album by the English singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nik Kershaw. It was released in 1989 and was the last album he created for MCA Records. Kershaw chose the album's title as he felt the album represented "the collected works of Nik Kershaw". He did not release any new solo material until ''15 Minutes'', 10 years later. The album was not commercially successful, though the lead single " One Step Ahead" reached No. #55 in the UK. "Elisabeth's Eyes", the second and final single, failed to chart altogether. Although the album was produced by Peter Wolf and co-produced by Brian Malouf, both singles were written shortly after Kershaw became unhappy with Wolf's production and his direction for the album. They were produced by Kershaw and Julian Mendelsohn, with the two also re-working the production of the entire album, earning them an additional production credit. After its original release, the album remained out of print on any form ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Cowboys & Indians (magazine)
''Cowboys & Indians'' is an American magazine that focuses on Western and Native American lifestyles. It was founded by former high-tech and defense manufacturing entrepreneur Robert Hartman. Hartman's family were originally ranchers from Cody, Wyoming, and his grandmother was close friends with Wyatt Earp and Wyatt's wife Josephine. When Hartman's family moved to Los Angeles in the early 1920s, Josephine and Wyatt soon followed. Hartman's parents purchased a ranch in the San Fernando Valley where he was raised. With a family history steeped in Western ranching, Hartman recognized that the modern Western lifestyle did not bridge the past to the present. This inspired the idea of creating a glossy storytelling magazine, and Hartman began formulating the substance of the publication in 1991, in an effort to combine the history and stories of the American West with art, Western antiques, ranching, real estate, fashion, and travel. In 1992, the first issue was published with 12,00 ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |
