Conversion Tracking
With reference to display media and search media, conversion tracking is the measurement of media performance with reference to campaign key performance indicators ( KPIs). This process functions thanks to a JavaScript tracker or a pixel tracker (when JavaScript is disabled, for instance in emails), which instantaneously records quantitative actions. Results are cross-referenced with the KPIs, or measures of success, to gauge if the media inventory has achieved its targeting parameters. Common measures of success include: * Conversion rate In electronic commerce, conversion marketing is a marketing technique aimed at increasing ''conversions''—that is, turning site visitors into paying customers. Display Media
Digital display advertising is online graphic advertising through banners, text, images, video, and audio. The main purpose of digital display advertising is to post company ads on third-party websites. A display ad is usually interactive (i.e. clickable), which allows brands and advertisers to engage deeper with the users. A display ad can also be a companion ad for a non-clickable video ad. According to eMarketer, Facebook and Twitter were set to take 33 percent of display ad spending market share by 2017. Desktop display advertising eclipsed search ad buying in 2014, with mobile ad spending overtaking display in 2015. Overview Digital display advertising is an online form of advertising in which the company's promotional messages appear on third-party sites or search engine results pages such as publishers or social networks. There is an evidence showing that this advertising can increase the number of website page view of a company from most types of customers except fr ... Search Media
In Internet marketing, search advertising is a method of placing online advertisements on web pages that show results from search engine queries. Through the same search-engine advertising services, ads can also be placed on Web pages with other published content. Search advertisements are targeted to match key search terms (called keywords) entered on search engines. This targeting ability has contributed to the attractiveness of search advertising for advertisers. Consumers will often use a search engine to identify and compare purchasing options immediately before making a purchasing decision. The opportunity to present consumers with advertisements tailored to their immediate buying interests encourages consumers to click on search ads instead of unpaid search results, which are often less relevant. For the online user, Sponsored Search Advertisement offers highly relevant search results which are based on the consumer’s own queries and, thus, they are considered less intrus ... Key Performance Indicators
A performance indicator or key performance indicator (KPI) is a type of performance measurement. KPIs evaluate the success of an organization or of a particular activity (such as projects, programs, products and other initiatives) in which it engages. KPIs provide a focus for strategic and operational improvement, create an analytical basis for decision making and help focus attention on what matters most. Often success is simply the repeated, periodic achievement of some levels of operational goal (e.g. zero defects, 10/10 customer satisfaction), and sometimes success is defined in terms of making progress toward strategic goals. Accordingly, choosing the right KPIs relies upon a good understanding of what is important to the organization. What is deemed important often depends on the department measuring the performance – e.g. the KPIs useful to finance will differ from the KPIs assigned to sales. Since there is a need to understand well what is important, various technique ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

JavaScript
JavaScript (), often abbreviated as JS, is a programming language and core technology of the World Wide Web, alongside HTML and CSS. Ninety-nine percent of websites use JavaScript on the client side for webpage behavior. Web browsers have a dedicated JavaScript engine that executes the client code. These engines are also utilized in some servers and a variety of apps. The most popular runtime system for non-browser usage is Node.js. JavaScript is a high-level, often just-in-time–compiled language that conforms to the ECMAScript standard. It has dynamic typing, prototype-based object-orientation, and first-class functions. It is multi-paradigm, supporting event-driven, functional, and imperative programming styles. It has application programming interfaces (APIs) for working with text, dates, regular expressions, standard data structures, and the Document Object Model (DOM). The ECMAScript standard does not include any input/output (I/O), such as netwo ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Spy Pixel
Spy pixels or tracker pixels are hyperlinks to remote image files in HTML email messages that have the effect of spying on the person reading the email if the image is downloaded. They are commonly embedded in the HTML of an email as small, imperceptible, transparent graphic files.Sipior, Janice C., Burke T. Ward, and Ruben A. Mendoza. 2011. “Online Privacy Concerns Associated with Cookies, Flash Cookies, and Web Beacons.” ''Journal of Internet Commerce'' 10(1):1–16. Spy pixels are commonly used in marketing, and there are several countermeasures in place that aim to block email tracking pixels. However, there are few regulations in place that effectively guard against email tracking approaches. History Networked email was pioneered in 1971 by Ray Tomlinson and has made it much more convenient to send and receive messages as opposed to traditional postal mail.Hossin. Conversion Rate
In electronic commerce, conversion marketing is a marketing technique aimed at increasing ''conversions''—that is, turning site visitors into paying customers. Conversion marketing addresses low online conversion rates by improving overall customer experience. Overview By focusing on elements such as site usability, support channels, and overall digital experience, conversion marketing is generally considered a long-term strategic investment rather than a short-term fix. Conversion marketing strategies prioritize optimizing existing traffic rather than simply generating more visitors. This approach includes proactive use of real-time analytics to identify signs of visitor hesitation or intent to abandon a site. In response, targeted messaging, interface enhancements, and personalized content are deployed to guide users, highlight value propositions, and increase the likelihood of conversion. Post-sale, marketers may continue engagement through support services or re-engage ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

The KPI driven code analysis - developed at the Hasso Plattner Institute - is a static program analysis of source code for the purpose of improving software quality. Marketing Analytics
Marketing is the act of acquiring, satisfying and retaining customers. It is one of the primary components of business management and commerce. Marketing is usually conducted by the seller, typically a retailer or manufacturer. Products can be marketed to other businesses ( B2B) or directly to consumers (B2C). Sometimes tasks are contracted to dedicated marketing firms, like a media, market research, or advertising agency. Sometimes, a trade association or government agency (such as the Agricultural Marketing Service) advertises on behalf of an entire industry or locality, often a specific type of food (e.g. Got Milk?), food from a specific area, or a city or region as a tourism destination. Market orientations are philosophies concerning the factors that should go into market planning. The marketing mix, which outlines the specifics of the product and how it will be sold, including the channels that will be used to advertise the product, is affected by the environment surro ...
