Izak Jacobus "Cobus" Visagie (born 31 October 1973) is a South African former rugby union footballer who played at tighthead prop. Early life Visagie attended the Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch and then studied auditing and accounting at Stellenbosch University, where he also played for Maties (Stellenbosch University) and Western Province Rugby representing the under–20 and under–21 teams. Visagie finished his Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting and audit at Stellenbosch University in 1996. He worked seven years for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a chartered accountant, whilst playing professional rugby. Sarel Jacobus Francois "Kobus" Marais (born 26 June 1959) is a South African politician who served as a Member of Parliament with the Democratic Alliance from 2006 until 2024. Education and family life Marais was born on 26 June 1959 as Sarel Jacobus Francois Marais in Robertson, Western Cape, and he lives in Worcester with his wife and daughter (and son years ago). Jacobus Johannes Marais (born 5 July 1994) is a South African rugby union player for the in the Currie Cup and in the Rugby Challenge. His regular position is fly-half. Jacobus Meyer Reinach (born 7 February 1990) is a South African professional rugby union player who plays for the Top 14 side Montpellier and South Africa national team. His playing position is scrum-half and he is the son of former Springbok winger Jaco Reinach. {{no footnotes, date=February 2013 Kobus (or Jacobus) van der Schlossen (died 1695) was a late-seventeenth century Dutch thief who features prominently in folktales from the North Brabant region. After serving as a soldier in the many wars which left the Netherlands in turmoil, he joined a gang of ex-soldiers called 'de zwartmakers' (lit. the detractors). With his robber band 'De Zwarte Bende' he made his home in the vast and impenetrable Slabroek forests near Uden. Eventually he was captured in Uden and imprisoned in Ravenstein Castle (since demolished). He was hanged in 1695 at the gallows of the Lordship of Ravenstein in Velp.
