Cityterminalen (') is the central bus station of Stockholm. It is situated in the Norrmalm city district. Together with the adjacent Stockholm Central Station, Stockholm City Station, Stockholm City railway station and T-Centralen, T-Centralen metro station, it forms Stockholm and Sweden's busiest transport hub. Operations Cityterminalen is Sweden's busiest bus station, handling approximately 800 buses daily. It provides long-distance connections to various destinations within Sweden as well as several European cities. Flygbussarna
Flygbussarna (') is an airport bus service that connects six major airports with cites in Sweden. Founded in 1989 by SL, the service is currently owned by Vy Buss AB, a company wholly owned by the Government of Norway, and operates under the brand name Vy Flygbussarna. History Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (SL) began operating airport coaches under the name Flygbussarna in Stockholm in 1989. The service was incorporated in 1990 as SL Flygbussarna AB. Stockholm Central Station
Stockholm Central Station (), is the main Train station, railway station in Stockholm, and largest railway station in Sweden in terms of passenger numbers and train traffic. It is located in the Norrmalm district of central Stockholm on Vasagatan, Stockholm, Vasagatan, extending from Vattugatan in the south to Kungsbron in the north. The station opened on 18 July 1871. Stockholm Skavsta Airport () , or Nyköping Airport is an international airport in Nyköping Municipality, Sweden, northwest of Nyköping and approximately southwest of Stockholm. T-Centralen
T-Centralen is the largest and busiest station on the Stockholm Metro. It is located in the Norrmalm district of central Stockholm, directly adjacent to Stockholm Central Station and Stockholm City Station, Stockholm City commuter train station. T-Centralen is also the name of the terminus for the Spårväg City tram line. T-Centralen is the only station in Stockholm Metro where all three metro lines converge. Ralph Erskine (architect)
Ralph Erskine ARIBA (24 February 1914 – 16 March 2005) was a British architect and planner who lived and worked in Sweden for most of his life. Upbringing and influences Erskine was born in London in 1914, and spent his childhood in Mill Hill in Barnet. His parents were socialists, adherents of the Fabian Society, which promoted the idea of the evolution of Britain into a socialist state. His Scottish grandfather was a Presbyterian free church minister, a descendant of the ministers Ralph Erskine and Ebenezer Erskine, but his parents sent him to the Friends School Saffron Walden (1925–1931), a Quaker school, probably because of their socialist beliefs. This is a list of Swedish companies owned by the state. State-owned companies are legally in a form of aktiebolag but mainly or fully state-owned. They are expected to be funded by their sales, and not be given direct tax money. A big customer might be the state or a government agency. Many companies originate from a former government agency. Government agencies are something different, usually funded by tax money but do also sell services, and are not an authority. The government has tried to avoid having agencies doing commercial activities, by separating out areas that compete with private companies into government-owned companies, for example within road construction.
