Morville Vincent William Chote (6 October 1924 – 2023) was a British javelin thrower who competed in the 1948 Summer Olympics. Chote was born in Luton, Bedfordshire on 6 October 1924. He joined the British Army in 1943, serving in World War II. He was commissioned in the Queen's Royal Regiment The Queen's Royal Regiment (West Surrey) was a line infantry regiment of the English and later the British Army from 1661 to 1959.
