Canton Of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne
The canton of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne is an administrative division of the Savoie department, southeastern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. Cantons Of France
The cantons of France are territorial subdivisions of the French Republic's departments and arrondissements. Apart from their role as organizational units in relation to certain aspects of the administration of public services and justice, the chief purpose of the cantons today is to serve as constituencies for the election of members of the representative assemblies established in each of France's territorial departments ( departmental councils, formerly general councils). Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves
Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves (; frp, Sïn Sorlïn) is a commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. INSEE Saint-Sorlin is a traditional Maurienne mountain village with some 350 permanent inhabitants. It is positioned in a mountain setting, with its slopes facing the 3000 metre Aiguilles d’Arves and at the foot of the Étendard glacier.
