Kutless is an American Christian rock band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 1999. Since their formation, they have released multiple studio albums and one live album, ''Live from Portland''. They have sold over 3 million records worldwide. History Earlier years (1999–2000) The band was formed in Portland, Oregon, as a campus worship band named "Call Box". They performed during the 1999–2000 school year at Warner Pacific College. Their first guitarist, Andrew Morrison, decided to leave the band shortly before they signed with BEC records. James Mead replaced Morrison at lead guitar. The Band changed their name to "Kutless" in October 2001, before releasing their first three-track EP followed up by their full-length album in 2002 on BEC Recordings. ''Strong Tower'' is a worship album released by the Christian rock group Kutless and is also their third studio album. An enhanced deluxe edition of this album was released on March 20, 2007, with additional tracks and the "Strong Tower" live music video. The title track of this record, "Strong Tower", was once in the Top 5 on ChristianRock.net. The album peaked at No. 87 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and No. 4 on the ''Billboard'' Christian Albums. Falling Up is an American rock band from Albany, Oregon. Falling Up formed in October 2001 and released their debut album '' Crashings'' in 2004. They were signed to BEC Recordings in 2003 after a recommendation from friends in the band Kutless. Their lyrics were heavily inspired by their conundrums with spirituality. Over time, the lyrics became more abstract and poetic as the band's style shifted from alternative rock to a more experimental direction and they started creating more diverse music. Disciple is an American Christian metal band from Knoxville, Tennessee, formed in 1992. The group has released 13 studio albums, 3 extended plays, 1 live extended play, and 1 compilation album. History Early releases (1992–1998) Disciple was formed in December 1992 by Knoxville high school friends Kevin Young, Brad Noah, Adrian DiTommasi and Tim Barrett.
