Enzymes () are proteins that act as biological catalysts by accelerating chemical reactions. Malaria is a mosquito-borne infectious disease that affects humans and other animals. Malaria causes symptoms that typically include fever, tiredness, vomiting, and headaches. Mycolic acids are long fatty acids found in the cell walls of the Mycolata taxon, a group of bacteria that includes '' Mycobacterium tuberculosis'', the causative agent of the disease tuberculosis.
