''Badman'' is a British comedy drama web series that premiered on YouTube in October 2015. It has since had 13 episodes, Ten with the first series, and three thus far into the second series, as of 15 February 2023. The series is created by Humza Arshad and consists of continuous episodes uploaded on his YouTube channel Humza Productions, following the next chapter in the '' Diary of a Badman'' world. Humza is now maturing from boy to man, and takes himself down a path of darkness, but learns life's most important lessons on his journey to the light. Badman Review
The Badman Review, also known as the Review into Elective Home Education in England, was conducted by Graham Badman, the former Director of Children's Services at Kent County Council. The review was commissioned on 19 January 2009 by Ed Balls the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families with a remit to investigate current practice of local authorities in relation to home educators, and also to investigate whether home education could be used as a cover for some forms of child abuse, such as forced marriage and domestic servitude. Published on 11 June 2009 the review's recommendations that related to safeguarding were accepted in full by Ed Balls on the day of publication. The review found no evidence to support suggestions that home education was linked to forced marriage, servitude or child trafficking. Albert Oliver Badman (18 December 1885 – 24 April 1977) was an Australian wheat farmer and politician. He was a Senator for South Australia from 1932 to 1937 and a member of the House of Representatives from 1937 to 1943, representing the seat of Grey.
