Azy (orangutan)
Azy (pronounced ''AY-zee''), is a male hybrid orangutan. He was born on December 14, 1977, at the National Zoological Park (United States), National Zoo in Washington, D.C. He was transferred to the Albuquerque Zoo in 1978, and returned to the National Zoo in 1980. In 1995, Azy began living at the Think Tank building and participating in the Zoo's Orangutan Language Project with Rob Shumaker. On September 28, 2004, Azy was moved to the Great Ape Trust of Iowa. In 2010, he was moved to the Indianapolis Zoo where he resides with five other orangutans from the Great Ape Trust, where Shumaker serves as President of Indianapolis Zoo. al-'Azi ( ar, العازي, he, אל עזי) is an Arab village in Israel. Located just south of Kfar Menahem, it falls under the jurisdiction of Yoav Regional Council. In it had a population of . Azy-sur-Marne (, literally ''Azy on Marne'') is a commune in the department of Aisne in the Hauts-de-France region of northern France. Geography Azy-sur-Marne is located 4 km southwest of Château-Thierry and 20 km east of Montreuil-aux-Lions. It can be accessed by the D969 road from Essômes-sur-Marne in the north through the village then west through the commune and continuing south to Romeny-sur-Marne. There is also a country road going west to Mont de Bonneil. The commune is almost entirely farmland with small forests in the north and west. Arizona Airways was an airline that was conceived as a regional airline to provide service to cities throughout the Southwestern United States and the Mexican state of Sonora from Texas to California. The airline was in service between 1993 and 1996. History Originally announced in late 1991, Arizona Airways envisioned to create 165 jobs and generate $70 million to the local economy. In March 1992, the carrier was given its FAA approval. After it was given approval, service was initially to commence in June 1992, with three roundtrips each business day and two each on Saturday and Sunday between Tucson and San Diego. By July 1992, the U.S. Department of Transportation awarded the airline a route from Tucson to Hermosillo. At the time of this announcement, the airline also stated it was considering flying all of its domestic flights out of Avra Valley Airport in neighboring Marana due to the higher gate fees at Tucson International Airport; however, these plans never materialized ...
