In theology, angelism is a pejorative for arguments that human beings are essentially angelic, and therefore sin-less in actual nature. The term is used as a criticism, to identify ideas which reject conceptions of human nature as being (to some degree) sinful and lustful: :"[Angelism] minimizes concupiscence and therefore ignores the need for moral vigilance and prayer to cope with the consequences of original sin." Angel
In various theistic religious traditions an angel is a supernatural spiritual being who serves God. Lust
Lust is a psychological force producing intense desire for something, or circumstance while already having a significant amount of the desired object. Lust can take any form such as the lust for sexuality (see libido), money, or power. It can take such mundane forms as the lust for food (see gluttony) as distinct from the need for food or lust for redolence, when one is lusting for a particular smell that brings back memories. Concupiscence
Concupiscence (from Late Latin noun ''concupiscentia'', from the Latin verb ''wikt:concupiscent, concupiscence'', from ''con-'', "with", here an intensifier, + ''cupi(d)-'', "desiring" + ''-escere'', a verb-forming suffix denoting beginning of a process or state) is an ardent, usually sensual, longing. Original Sin
Original sin is the Christian doctrine that holds that humans, through the fact of birth, inherit a tainted nature in need of regeneration and a proclivity to sinful conduct.
