Patikul, officially the Municipality of Patikul ( Tausūg: ''Kawman sin Patikul''; ), is a municipality in the province of Sulu, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 79,564 people. The provincial capitol and offices are located in this municipality. History Colonial period Spanish occupation The municipality of Patikul, situated east of Jolo, was a settlement at an isolated hill, far from the beach, by the 19th century.
