After School () was a South Korean girl group formed by Pledis Entertainment, with an admissions and graduation concept. After School officially debuted in January 2009 with the song "Ah!" from the single album ''New Schoolgirl''. Following the addition of Uee in April of that year, they released "Diva (After School song), Diva", which won the "Rookie of the Month" award at the Cyworld Digital Music Awards. Pledis Entertainment then announced the graduation of Yoo So-young, Soyoung before adding Raina and Nana (entertainer), Nana for the release "Because of You (single album), Because of You" in November 2009, which topped the monthly digital chart for December. ''Because of You'' () is the second single album by South Korean girl group After School. It was released on 25 November 2009, by Pledis Entertainment. The group also released an official remix version of the lead single of the same name on 21 January 2010. The title track was written, composed, and arranged by Brave Brothers, and it was the first release without member So-young and with new members Raina and Nana.
