Nathi
Nkosinathi Mankayi (born 23 December 1982), professionally known as Nathi, is a South African singer-songwriter. He shot to limelight upon the release of his critically acclaimed song titled "Nomvula" off his triple-platinum debut studio album '' Buyelekhaya''. He later released his second album titled ''Umbulelo Wam'' on 28 October 2016. He is presently signed under Gallo Record Company. Early life Nkosinathi Mankayi was born among five siblings to a single mother in Mthatha, a small town in Eastern Cape, South Africa. He grew up in Maclear, Eastern Cape, South Africa where he was educated and developed an interest in music and drawing. Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji (born July 23, 2000), known mononymously as Libianca, is a Cameroonian-American singer. She is best known for her breakout single "People" (2025). She previously competed in the 21st season of American TV show ''The Voice'' in 2021. Early life Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji was born on July 23, 2000 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In an interview with ''BBC News Pidgin'', Libianca recalled that when she was four years old, her family experienced issues with immigration. Bulelwa Mkutukana (9 November 1987 – 11 December 2023), known by her stage name Zahara, was a South African singer, songwriter and guitarist. Her music was classified loosely as "Afro-soul", and she sang in Xhosa language, Xhosa, her native language, as well as in English. Miriam Makeba
Zenzile Miriam Makeba ( , ; 4 March 1932 – 9 November 2008), nicknamed Mama Africa, was a South African singer, songwriter, actress, and civil rights activist. Associated with musical genres including African popular music, Afropop, jazz, and world music, she was an advocate against apartheid and white-minority government in South Africa. Born in Johannesburg to Swazi people, Swazi and Xhosa people, Xhosa parents, Makeba was forced to find employment as a child after the death of her father.
