Adhikari (Devanāgarī: अधिकारी, Sinhala: අදිකාරී, Bengali: অধিকারী; also spelt Adhikary) is a surname originating in the Indian subcontinent. Deepak Adhikari (born 25 December 1982), known by his stage name Dev, is an Indian actor, producer, singer and screenwriter, known for his works in Cinema of West Bengal, Bengali cinema and more recently, a politician. Ayush Adhikari (born 30 July 2000) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Indian Super League club Hyderabad FC. Club career Youth and early career After impressing for Delhi state team during the U14 nationals, Ayush was selected for the U Dream Football programme in Germany, where he spent almost four years. On his return to India, Ayush signed for Ozone FC. During the 2018–19 Santosh Trophy, Ayush finished as the top scorer with 6 goals despite his side failing to make the knockouts. Bharat Mohan Adhikari
Bharat Mohan Adhikari () (4 May 1936 – 2 March 2019) was a Nepali politician, economist. He became the Minister of Finance of Nepal in the 1994-95 government of Prime Minister Man Mohan Adhikari. He was the first communist Finance Minister who championed the "Afno Gaun Afai Banau" (; Develop our own village) campaign. He also served as the deputy prime minister of Nepal in the Deuba cabinet (2004–05), which was later dissolved by King Gyanendra. Although a central figure of the CPN-UML, he was considered to have held more moderate views. Health and death In 2012, he was at the Medanta Medicity Hospital in New Delhi for suspected valvular heart disease, but was not treated for the same. He died on 2 March 2019 from multiple organ failure stemming from a severe case of COPD. Bahun
Bahun (), also known as Hill Brahmins, are a Brahmin varna among the Khas of Nepal. They are a sub-caste of the Kanyakubja Brahmin while their origins are from Kannauj and the Himalayan belt of South Asia. According to the 2011 Nepal census, Bahun is the second most populous group after Chhetri. According to 1854 ''Muluki Ain'', the first Nepalese civil code, Bahuns were regarded as caste among sacred thread bearers ( Tagadhari) and twice-born Hindus. Amrit Bhushan Dev Adhikari
Amrit Bhushan Dev Adhikari (1858–1942). Back in 1810 Saka (Shaka era), king of gauripur, Bahadur organised "All Goalpara convention". The hidden agenda behind this was to make Goalpara a Bengali speaking district. But not even the king of Goalpara, Prabhat Chandra Baruah learned of this. Kumaonis, also known as Kumaiye and Kumain (in Nepal), are an Indo-Aryan ethnolinguistic group who speak Kumaoni as their first-language and live mostly in Kumaon division in the state of Uttarakhand in India. Rajbanshi People
The Rajbanshi, also Rajbongshi and Koch-Rajbongshi, are peoples from Western Assam, North Bengal, eastern Bihar, Terai region of eastern Nepal, Rangpur division of North Bangladesh and Bhutan who have in the past sought an association with the Koch dynasty. Koch-Rajbanshi people speak Kamatapuri, an Indo-Aryan language, likely due to language shift, and in the past they might have spoken Tibeto-Burman languages.
