''Farma'' (English: ''The Farm'') is a Croatian reality television series based on the Sweden, Swedish format of The Farm (franchise), ''The Farm''. The series follows a group of participants living on a farm and competing for a cash prize in an elimination-based format. ''Farma'' debuted on Nova TV (Croatia), Nova TV on 9 March 2008 as the first HDTV program to be broadcast in Croatia. The series concluded its run on Nova TV on 30 December 2020 with the finale of the seventh season. In May 2024, RTL (Croatian TV channel), RTL announced a revival of ''Farma'', which premiered on 19 May 2025 on RTL's streaming service Voyo (Croatia), Voyo. RTL (Croatian TV Channel)
RTL (previously known as RTL Televizija) is a Croatian free-to-air television network founded on 30 April 2004. It was owned by the RTL Group from 2004 to 2022. Since 1 June 2022, it is owned by the CME Group. It is the second commercial television network in Croatia that has a national concession, following Nova TV. History In 2003, the Croatian government opted to privatize the HRT 3 frequency. In June 2003, five companies were interested: RTL Group, News Corporation, SBS Broadcasting, HMTM and CME. A final decision was expected by 1 October. RTL began broadcasting on 30 April 2004 at 18:45 CET. Rafael Dropulić (born c. 1983), best known by his nickname Rafo, is a Croatian reality show winner and pop singer. Dropulić was born in Mostar. He first became famous for winning the 2003 season of Story Supernova Music Talents, the reality show that aired on Nova TV. Although he had questionable vocal talents, many observers attributed his ''Story Supernova Music Talents'' victory to a perceived bad boy image - popular among teenage girls, who happened to be the most enthusiastic televoters.
