Initially the project was created by freedesktop.org as a space for collaboration between free software creative projects, since then the project has become a full sub-project. Create now aims to develop and consolidate shared resources for creative applications. Several community-developed specifications have begun to be developed under the project such as OpenRaster and the Swatches colour file format. Some of the many groups that come together under this project include Blender, GIMP, Inkscape, Scribus, Audacity, Open Clip Art Library, Open Font Library and the Aiki Framework which produce creative content, one of the major ways these groups come together is through the Libre Graphics Meeting which is hosted by the Create Project. Characterization
Characterization or characterisation is the representation of characters (persons, creatures, or other beings) in narrative and dramatic works. The term character development is sometimes used as a synonym. This representation may include direct methods like the attribution of qualities in description or commentary, and indirect (or "dramatic") methods inviting readers to infer qualities from characters' actions, dialogue, or appearance. Such a personage is called a character. Character is a literary element. It features several references to Nintendo, such as the start-up jingle to their GameCube console, sound effects from ''Super Mario Bros.'', and homages to the company's history. Critics thought that "Create" showed respect for Nintendo; they also commented on its J-pop composition and Hoshino's lyricism. The song reached number 7 on the ''Billboard Japan'' Hot 100, n ...

History Create TV was launched on WGBH-TV DTV/Comcast Cable and WLIW DTV/Cablevision digital services, WNET's sister station, in 2004. Create was launched nationally on January 9, 2006. In 2009, APT started looking for a national network underwriter, while seven stations had found local underwriters that covered their network fees. Ten stations at this time were inserting local programming. Create, Read, Update And Delete
In computer programming, create, read, update, and delete (CRUD) are the four basic operations (actions) of persistent storage. CRUD is also sometimes used to describe user interface conventions that facilitate viewing, searching, and changing information using computer-based forms and reports. History The term ''C.R.U.D'' was likely first popularized in 1983 by James Martin in his book ''Managing the data-base environment''. Conceptual Data can be put in a ''location/area'' of a storage mechanism. * The fundamental feature of a storage location is that its ''content'' is both ''readable'' and ''updatable''. * Before a storage location can be read or updated it needs to be ''created''; that is allocated and initialized with content. * At some later point, the storage location may need to be ''destructed''; that is finalized and deallocated. Together these four operations make up the basic operations of storage management known as CRUD: ''Create'', ''Read'', ''Update'' and ...

CREATE (SQL)
In the context of SQL, data definition or data description language (DDL) is a syntax for creating and modifying database objects such as tables, indices, and users. DDL statements are similar to a computer programming language for defining data structures, especially database schemas. Common examples of DDL statements include CREATE, ALTER, and DROP. If you see a .ddl file, that means the file contains a statement to create a table. Oracle SQL Developer contains the ability to export from an ERD generated with Data Modeler to either a .sql file or a .ddl file. History The concept of the data definition language and its name was first introduced in relation to the Codasyl database model, where the schema of the database was written in a language syntax describing the records, fields, and sets of the user data model. Later it was used to refer to a subset of Structured Query Language (SQL) for declaring tables, columns, data types and constraints. SQL-92 introduced a schem ...
