Zwarte Cross
The Zwarte Cross Festival is the largest paid festival in the Netherlands, and the largest motor event in the world. The 20th edition in 2016 numbered 220,000 visitors, the 26th edition in 2024 did count for 265,500 guests. The festival is a combination of motor cross, music, theatre and stunts. 'Zwarte Cross' literally means 'black cross'; it is a reference to the illegal motocross races in the 1960s. The organisation is in the hands of Dutch firm De Feestfabriek Alles Komt Goed B.V., sold in 2021 to Superstruct Entertainment, which in 2024 was acquired by U.S. investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, KKR & Co. Lichtenvoorde is a town in the east of the Netherlands, in the municipality of Oost Gelre. Lichtenvoorde holds a flower parade (''bloemencorso'') every September at the start of its annual festival. Kamelot is an American power metal band from Tampa, Florida, formed by Thomas Youngblood in 1987. The Norwegian vocalist Roy Khan joined for the album '' Siége Perilous'', and shared songwriting credit with Youngblood until his departure in April 2011. Helloween
Helloween is a German power metal band founded in 1984 in Hamburg by members of bands Iron Fist, Gentry, Second Hell and Powerfool. The band has at times been called one of the most influential European heavy metal bands of the 1980s. Its first lineup consisted of singer and guitarist Kai Hansen, bassist Markus Grosskopf, guitarist Michael Weikath and drummer Ingo Schwichtenberg. By the time Hansen left Helloween in 1989 to form Gamma Ray (band), Gamma Ray, the band had evolved into a five-piece, with Michael Kiske taking over as lead vocalist. Schwichtenberg and Kiske both parted ways with Helloween in 1993; Schwichtenberg died two years later as the result of suicide. The Black Crowes
The Black Crowes are an American rock band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1984. Their discography includes ten studio albums, four live albums and several charting singles. Miss Montreal
Roos-Anne (Sanne) Hans (born 22 September 1984 in Dedemsvaart), is a Dutch singer-songwriter and guitar player. She was part of Ysis until 2008 and later formed the band Miss Montreal. Ysis Sanne Hans first was part of the formation Ysis made up of her on vocals and guitar, Inge van Calkar also on guitar and vocals and Ilse Gerritsen on the cello. They all stutter, which didn't impact on their singing. Miss Montreal October 2008 she started as the lead singer of a new band Miss Montreal, together with Kobus Groen (bass, backing vocals), Michi Schwiemann (guitar), Thijs Rensink (drums) and Peter Hendriks (keyboards). Life of Agony is an American alternative metal band from Brooklyn, New York City, formed in 1989 by singer Keith Caputo, bassist Alan Robert and guitarist Joey Z. The band has released six studio albums to date, most notably their 1993 debut ''River Runs Red'', named by Rolling Stone as one of the Greatest Metal Albums of All Time. Jacqueline Govaert (; born 20 April 1982) is a Dutch singer, songwriter, and pianist. She is best known as the leader of Dutch band Krezip. After Krezip disbanded in 2009, Govaert started a solo music career. She released her debut album ''Good Life'' in August 2010. Career Krezip Govaert wrote her first songs on the piano at age 12. Ilse Annoeska de Lange (born 13 May 1977), better known as Ilse DeLange, is a Dutch country and pop rock singer-songwriter. Anthrax is an American thrash metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. Moss was a three-piece English doom metal band that formed in 2001. Influenced by H. P.
