Zoro (band)
Zoro (stylized as ZORO) was a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in January 2007. Though they were originally a four-piece band for four years, as of 2011, the band is a duo consisting of vocalist Ryuuji and bassist Tatsuhi. History Vocalist Ryuuji, bassist Tatsuhi, and drummer Yuuya were previously part of a band called Soroban. After Soroban disbanded, the three went on to form the band Zoro in January 2007. Their first performance was at Liquidroom Ebisu on March 5, 2007, although they did not have a drummer. Taizo later joined Zoro in June 2007 after the disbandment of his previous band, Mouse. On December 27, 2010, at Maverick DC Group's annual concert Jack in the Box 2010, Zoro revealed that Yuuya and Taizo would be leaving the band and that the band would go on a hiatus. Zoro (born Daniel Donnelly, June 13, 1962) also known as The Minister of Groove is an American drummer whose style includes rock, R&B, and hip hop. Zoro has toured and recorded with Lenny Kravitz, Bobby Brown, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, New Edition, Jody Watley, Sean Lennon, Philip Bailey, Lisa Marie Presley, and Throttle Body Motorcycle Club, among others. He was named the number one R&B drummer and clinician in industry magazines including Modern Drummer and 'Drum!.' Author Zoro is the author of five books. "The Commandments of R&B Drumming" earned him a ''Modern Drummer'' Reader's Poll #1 Educational text vote. The book was expanded and re-released by Alfred Publishing in a 10th anniversary edition. , also known as , is a fictional character in the manga series and media franchise ''One Piece'' created by Eiichiro Oda. The character made his first appearance in the 3rd chapter of the series, which was first published in Japan in Shueisha's ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' magazine on August 4, 1997. Zoro is the second member of the Straw Hat Pirates and the first to join, doing so after he is rescued by Luffy from execution. The Zo Reunification Organization (ZORO) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 1988 in Champhai, Mizoram, India. It advocates for the cultural, social, and political unification of the Zo people, whose ethnic groups are dispersed across Northeast India, Myanmar, and Bangladesh.
