''Zero'' is a 2024 American action comedy film written and directed by Jean Luc Herbulot. It stars Hus Miller, Cam McHarg, Gary Dourdan, Roger Sallah, Moran Rosenblatt, and Willem Dafoe. The film premiered at the Sitges Film Festival on October 10, 2024, and it was released in the United States on April 11, 2025. Jean Luc Herbulot (born in 1983 in Pointe-Noire, Republic of the Congo) is a Congolese film director and screenwriter. Biography Herbulot started drawing and writing stories at an early age. His activities included writing, drawing, composing music, working on video games, and graphic design. In 2004, while studying editing as part of his multimedia studies in Paris, he directed his first short movie, titled ''Vierge(s)'', for which he also did the scriptwriting, storyboard, lighting, editing, and DVD release. Despite the amateur quality and the fact that the film was his first step in moviemaking, this project was quite successful at festivals and on the internet. Cam McHarg is an American actor and film director. Early life and career McHarg was born and raised in Everett, Washington. He attended Cascade High School. After serving a brief stint in the 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion in the US Marine Corps, he went on to study at the Lee Strasberg Actors Workshop in Seattle. He then moved to Los Angeles to study acting as a work observer at The Actor's Studio under Mark Rydell and Martin Landau and later went on to work on stage in several dozen live theater productions. McHarg got his BFA in film from the Art Center College of Design, where he won the Gold Addy and Silver Telly Awards and was a shortlisted winner for the Cannes Young Director Award.
