Zenon Of Kaunos
Zenon or Zeno ( el, Ζήνων; 3rd century BC), son of Agreophon, was a public official in Ptolemaic Egypt around the 250s-230s BC. His writings are known from a cache of papyrus documents which was discovered by archaeologists in the Nile Valley in 1914. Biography Zeno was a native of the Greek town of Kaunos in Caria in southwestern Asia Minor. He moved to the town of Philadelphia in Egypt, a busy market town that had been founded on the edge of the Faiyum by Ptolemy II Philadelphus in honour of his sister Arsinoe II. From the 3rd century BC until the 5th century CE, Philadelphia was a thriving settlement that relied on agriculture for its economic success. At Philadelphia, Zeno became a private secretary to Apollonius, the finance minister to Ptolemy II Philadelphus and Ptolemy III Euergetes. Zenon Licznerski (born 27 November 1954 in Elbląg) is a Polish former athlete who competed mainly in the 100 metres. He was Polish 100/200 metre champion in 1976, 77. He was a member of the Polish sprint relay team that won Gold in the European championship. He competed for Poland in the 1980 Summer Olympics held in Moscow, Soviet Union he competed in the 200 metres, where he reached the quarter final. Zenon Kuzelia
Zenon Frantsyskovych Kuzelia (23 June 1882 – 24 May 1952) was a prominent Ukrainian linguist, bibliographer, historian, journalist, and civil activist. He was born in a family of forestry in the village of Poruchyn (today's in Ternopil Raion). Kuzelia studied at Berezhany gymnasium where he organized a secret club called "Young Ukraine". After finishing the gymnasium in 1900, he enrolled in the Lviv University. Kuzelia, however, soon moved to Vienna, where he continued to study at the University of Vienna and headed the Ukrainian student society "Sich". After graduating he worked in Vienna, and in 1909 he moved to Chernivtsi, while also becoming a member of the Shevchenko Scientific Society in Lviv. With the start of the World War I Kuzelia moved back to Vienna, where he worked for a community. Also known as "Zenon the Destroyer", Konopka played for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, Columbus Blue Jackets, Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators, Minnesota Wild, and Buffalo Sabres during his National Hockey League (NHL) career. Zenon Kliszko ( Łódź, December 8, 1908 – September 4, 1989, Warsaw), was a politician in the Polish People's Republic, considered the man of Polish United Workers' Party (PZPR) leader Władysław Gomułka. Kliszko graduated from Warsaw University and joined the Polish Communist Party in 1931. He was arrested in 1934 for anti-state agitation and released after the courts established that he was mentally challenged. Kliszko took part in the Warsaw Uprising during Nazi German occupation of Poland and escaped capture by swimming across the river. He met Gomułka in Lublin, befriended him, and became the KC PZPR functionary after the Soviet takeover in 1945. Zenon Kitowski (born 1962) is one of the most talented and recognized clarinet players of Poland. He was born in a Kashubian town of Kartuzë (pol. Kartuzy).
