Za'tara (Arabic: زعترة، نابلس) is a village located in the Nablus Governorate in the northern West Bank, Palestine. It is about 18 km south of Nablus. Since the Six-Day War in 1967, it has been under Israeli occupation. It is located in Beita, Nablus, municipality services. Arabic Script
The Arabic script is the writing system used for Arabic and several other languages of Asia and Africa. Palestine Grid
The Palestine grid was the geographic coordinate system used by the Survey Department of Palestine. The system was chosen by the Survey Department of the Government of Palestine in 1922. The projection used was the Cassini-Soldner projection. The central meridian (the line of longitude along which there is no local distortion) was chosen as that passing through a marker on the hill of Mar Elias Monastery south of Jerusalem. The false origin (zero point) of the grid was placed 100 km to the south and west of the Ali el-Muntar hill that overlooks Gaza city. The unit length for the grid was the kilometre; the British units were not even considered. At the time the grid was established, there was no intention of mapping the lower reaches of the Negev Desert, but this did not remain true. The Nablus Governorate ( ar, محافظة نابلس ') is an administrative district of Palestine located in the Central Highlands of the West Bank, 53 km north of Jerusalem. It covers the area around the city of Nablus which serves as the ''muhfaza'' (seat) of the governorate. The governor of the district is Mahmoud Aloul. The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS; ar, الجهاز المركزي للإحصاء الفلسطيني) is the official statistical institution of the State of Palestine. Its main task is to provide credible statistical figures at the national and international levels. It is a state institution that provides service to the governmental, non – governmental and private sectors in addition to research institutions and universities. Beita ( ar, بيتا, translation: "Home") is a Palestinian town in the Nablus Governorate in the northern West Bank located southeast of Nablus.
