Yvette Rees
Yvette Rees (22 May 1924 Swansea, Wales – 1993 in Ealing, London) Born ‘Eiros Yvette Rees’, was a Welsh actress who appeared in many TV series and several noteworthy films in the 1960s. She trained at RADA, and graduated in 1949. In the mid-1970s she moved to Australia where she continued to work on TV and film until 1979 when she appears to have retired. She is perhaps best remembered for her memorable role in 1964's ''Witchcraft'' as the witch Vanessa Whitlock who returns from the grave to avenge being buried alive several hundred years previously. Yvette is also the grandmother of stuntman Ben Smith-Petersen. Through her son Simon, who also worked in TV and cinema. She was married to Morten Smith-Petersen. RADA
The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA; ) is a drama school in London, England, that provides vocational conservatoire training for theatre, film, television, and radio. It is based in the Bloomsbury area of Central London, close to the Senate House complex of the University of London and is a founding member of the Federation of Drama Schools. It is one of the oldest drama schools in the United Kingdom, founded in 1904 by Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree. It moved to buildings on Gower Street in 1905. It was granted a Royal Charter in 1920 and a new theatre was built on Malet Street, behind the Gower Street buildings that was opened by Edward, Prince of Wales, in 1921. It received its first government subsidy in 1924. RADA currently has five theatres and a cinema. The school’s Principal Industry Partner is Warner Bros. Entertainment. ''Julius Caesar'' is a 1970 film adaptation of William Shakespeare's play of the same name, directed by Stuart Burge. It stars Charlton Heston as Mark Antony, Jason Robards as Brutus, Richard Johnson as Cassius, John Gielgud as Caesar, Robert Vaughn as Casca, Richard Chamberlain as Octavius, and Diana Rigg as Portia. ''Thirst'' is a 1979 Australian horror film directed by Rod Hardy and starring Chantal Contouri, Max Phipps, and David Hemmings. It has been described as a blend of vampire and science fiction genres, influenced by the 1973 film '' Soylent Green'' as well as drawing on the vampire folklore of Elizabeth Báthory – one of several vampire films in the 1970s to do so. ''The Troubleshooters'' (titled ''Mogul'' for the first series) is a British television series made by the BBC between 1965 and 1972, created by John Elliot. It recounted events in an international oil company – the "Mogul" of the title.
