Yoko Alender (born 13 June 1979) is an Estonian architect and politician, member of the XIII, XIV and XV Riigikogu, publisher, educator. Yoko Alender is standing as a candidate in the June 2024 European Parliament elections on the Reform Party list. Yoko Ono
Yoko Ono (, usually spelled in katakana as ; born February 18, 1933) is a Japanese multimedia artist, singer, songwriter, and peace activist. Her work also encompasses performance art and filmmaking. Ono grew up in Tokyo and moved to New York City in 1952 to join her family. She became involved with New York City's downtown artists scene in the early 1960s, which included the Fluxus group, and became well known in 1969 when she married English musician John Lennon of the Beatles, with whom she would subsequently record as a duo in the Plastic Ono Band. The couple used their honeymoon as a stage for public protests against the Vietnam War with what they called a bed-in. is a Japanese former professional boxer who competed from 1974 to 1981. He held the WBA light-flyweight title from 1976 to 1981, making a total of 13 successful defences. Following his retirement from boxing, he remains popular in Japan as a '' tarento'' having signed a contract with Ohta Production. is a Japanese video game director and scenario writer. Starting his career at the now defunct game developer Cavia, his best-known work is on the action role-playing video game series '' Drakengard'', and its spin-offs, '' Nier'' and '' Nier: Automata''. Yoko was born in Nagoya, Aichi, and studied at the Kobe Design University in the 1990s. ''Yoko'' is Beulah's final album, released on Velocette Records in 2003. Before its release in September, the album appeared on the internet on July 4, 2003, due to an advance copy being leaked. To counteract this, the band, along with Velocette and Insound, offered a limited edition EP burned onto CD-R, which included demos and alternate versions of songs from ''Yoko''. This EP was limited to 200 copies and was called ''Rarities, Demos & Besides''. Also released after the initial release of ''Yoko'' was a new version only sold on the ''Yoko'' tour and at independent record stores called ''Yoko Demo''. It was an unmastered, unmixed copy of ''Yoko'' as recorded in the homes of band members Miles Kurosky and Bill Swan. The album was produced in limited numbers by Velocette.
