"We Left Slowly" ( "Yatzanu at" or "Yatsanu at") is an Israeli song with verse of the poet and songwriter Haim Hefer (1946) and music by (1947). It was first publicly performed by the Chizbatron band in 1948. Its title comes from the first line. Yishai Levi
Yishay Levi, also translated as Ishay Levi (; born January 20, 1963, in Rosh HaAyin, Israel) is an Israeli singer, specializing in Mizrahi music. Biography Levi was born into a family of Yemenite Jews. He began singing in clubs in Israel in 1983, when singers like Zohar Argov and Haim Moshe were at the peak of their careers. Here he was discovered by the guitarist Moses Ben-Mosh. Levi produced his first album, ''Hafla With Ben Mohes'' in 1986. He became a superstar in clubs all over Israel. After this he released his first song in the album ''Ine Ba Ha-yom'' (Here Comes the Day); then the song "Raiya" brought him fame. Don Tourliev "Danny" Maseng (; born in 1950) is an Israeli-born performer. An actor, singer and writer, Maseng is known as a composer of contemporary Jewish Liturgical music. He currently leads MAKOM LA, a spiritual community in Los Angeles, California. Biography Maseng was born in Tel Aviv, Israel to Norwegian-American pilot Trygve Johannes Maseng and American-born Eve Davidowitz. Maseng's father, Trygve, arrived in Israel as a volunteer for the Air Force during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. Eyal Golan (; born Eyal Bitton; 12 April 1971) is an Israeli singer who sings in the Mizrahi music pop fusion genre and considered one of the most successful singers in Israel. Golan reported the highest income of all singers in Israel in 2011. Family Eyal Bitton was born in Rehovot, Israel, to a family of both Moroccan Jewish and Yemenite Jewish descent. Haim Hefer (; 29 October 1925 – 18 September 2012) was a Polish-born Israeli songwriter, poet, columnist, translator and writer. He wrote for numerous composers and musical artists, as well as for military bands. Several of his songs are considered Israeli classics. He was awarded the Israel Prize in 1983 as recognition for his contributions to Israeli music. Biography Haim Feiner (later Hefer) was born in Sosnowiec, Poland in 1925 to Jewish parents Issachar Feiner, a chocolate salesman, and Rivka Herzberg, a housewife. He had a private Hebrew tutor.
