Yas (rapper)
Yaser Bakhtiari ( fa, یاسر بختیاری, born 1982 in Rezvanshahr, Iran) better known by his stage name Yas (), is an Iranian rapper. He wears a Faravahar pendant, a symbol of Iranian nationalism and Zoroastrianism. On 21 December 2011 Yas was chosen by the voters as the Artist of the Week in MTV IGGY Entitled Tehran’s Hard-Hitting MC. Yas is one of the founders of Persian rap, and in 2013 he became the first Iranian rapper to be allowed by the Islamic Republic to legally perform in Iran. Early life Yas first began to listen to rap music at the age of 14 his father returned from his business trip in Germany and brought him the latest Tupac album and other hip-hop songs and he was heavily influenced by them. Modiba
Modiba is an artist management and music licensing company dedicated to international artists and social responsibility. Modiba Productions was founded in 2004 when Wesleyan University seniors Eric Herman and Jesse Brenner created an Afrobeat compilation CD, the profits of which were donated to humanitarian workers in Darfur. The album was called the Afrobeat Sudan Aid Project (ASAP), and has raised over $140,000 for Save the Children in Darfur. Persian literature ( fa, ادبیات فارسی, Adabiyâte fârsi, ) comprises oral compositions and written texts in the Persian language and is one of the world's oldest literatures. It spans over two-and-a-half millennia. Aaron Dontez Yates (born November 8, 1971), better known by his stage name Tech N9ne (pronounced "tech nine"), is an American rapper. In 1999, he and business partner Travis O'Guin founded the record label Strange Music. He has sold over two million albums and has had his music featured in film, television, and video games.
