Yankees Minor League System
The New York Yankees farm system consists of six Minor League Baseball affiliates across the United States and in the Dominican Republic as well. Three teams are owned by the major league club, while three others—the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, Somerset Patriots, and Hudson Valley Renegades—are independently owned. The Yankees have been affiliated with the Rookie Florida Complex League Yankees of the Florida Complex League since 1980, making it the longest-running active affiliation in the organization. It is also the longest affiliation in the team's history. Florida State League
The Florida State League (FSL) is a Minor League Baseball league based in the state of Florida. Having been classified at various levels throughout its existence, it operated at Class A-Advanced from 1990 until its demotion to Single-A following Major League Baseball's 2021 reorganization of the minor leagues. The league temporarily operated for the 2021 season as the Low-A Southeast before reassuming its original moniker in 2022. Minor League Baseball (MiLB) is a professional baseball organization below Major League Baseball (MLB), constituted of teams affiliated with MLB clubs.
