Bai Xue (; name means ''White Snow''; born 15 December 1988) is a female Chinese long-distance runner who specializes in the 10,000 metres. Career Bai won both the 5000 and the 10,000 metres at the 2005 Asian Championships, and she finished fourth in the 5,000 m at the 2006 World Junior Championships. She finished twenty-first in the 10,000 metres at the Olympic Games. She won the Beijing Marathon in 2008. 2009 World Championships The Berlin 2009 Marathon event was Bai's first time taking part in World Championships and only second time taking part in an international marathon. Han Xue (born 11 January 1983), also known as Cecilia Han, is a Chinese singer and actress of Miao ethnicity. Han is noted for her roles as Baigujing and Diaochan in the television series ''Journey to the West'' and ''Cao Cao'' respectively. Early life and education Han was born in a military family in Suzhou, Jiangsu, her grandfather Han Shu was a general of the People's Liberation Army, he participated in the Second Sino-Japanese War and Korean War. Her grandmother was once the leading lady in the Chinese People's Liberation Army Naval Song and Dance Troupe, her aunt Han Mei is a noted musician in Canada. Lam Suet (; born 1964), or Lin Xue, is a Hong Kong film actor. Life and career Lam was born in Tianjin, and came to Hong Kong as a youth in 1979 to receive inheritance money left by his grandfather. Soon after, all the money had been squandered and Lam had to work various odd jobs to make a living. In the mid-eighties he got employment on movie sets through the help of friends. He has done different roles, from lighting and props to stage manager and set and script supervisor. Zhang Xue (; born July 1964) is a Chinese geneticist currently serving as president and Chinese Communist Party Deputy Committee Secretary of Harbin Medical University. Biography Zhang was born in Zhaozhou County, Heilongjiang, in July 1964.
