Wyoming And Colorado Railroad
The Wyoming Colorado Railroad was a shortline railroad formerly operating three separate divisions in Colorado, Wyoming, and Oregon. Of the original system, only the Oregon division is still in operation as the Oregon Eastern Railroad. WYCO was one of several shortline railroads operated by The Western Group of Ogden, Utah. The Oregon Eastern Railroad (OERR) is a railroad going from Ontario to Celetom Oregon (Halfway between Vale and Harper). The railroad is all that is left of the Wyoming Colorado Railroad which started out as the Malheur Valley Railway. The railroad promotes itself as a "safe, reliable and economical method of transportation" and is proud of the fuel efficiency of railroads.
