Woodstock En Beauce
Woodstock en Beauce was a yearly weekend-long music festival held in St-Ephrem-de-Beauce, Quebec, Canada. It was created in 1995 with the intention to re-create the atmosphere of the original Woodstock Festival in 1969, emphasizing on the atmosphere of peace and fun. The first edition of the festival attracted about 5,000 people, but it now attracts crowds of over 78,000 people. It has been nominated three times at the ADISQ awards in the category for the event of the year. On October 17, 2014, it was announced that the 2014 edition would be the final one, putting an end to the festival after 20 years. On February 19, 2015, it was revealed on their Facebook page that the music festival would make a comeback in 2016, but there would be no festival in 2015, making it the first year since the foundation of the event to be skipped. Pennywise (band)
Pennywise is an American punk rock band from Hermosa Beach, California, formed in 1988. The band took its name from the antagonist in Stephen King's horror novel ''It (novel), It'' known as Pennywise the Dancing Clown. Between their 1991 Pennywise (album), self-titled debut and 2005's ''The Fuse (Pennywise album), The Fuse'', Pennywise released an album every two years on Epitaph Records, a label owned by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. Creedence Clearwater Revisited was an American Rock music, rock band formed in 1995 by bassist Stu Cook and drummer Doug Clifford, Doug "Cosmo" Clifford, former members of Creedence Clearwater Revival, to play live versions of that band's music. Overview Much of Creedence Clearwater Revival's music had been written and arranged by John Fogerty, who has not participated in Creedence Clearwater Revisited. Moist (Canadian Band)
Moist is a Canadian rock band that formed in 1992. It consists of David Usher as lead vocalist, Mark Makoway on lead guitars, Jonathan Gallivan on guitars, Kevin Young on keyboards, Francis Fillion on drums, and Jeff Pearce on bass. Drummer Paul Wilcox left the band just before its hiatus in 2000. The Tea Party (band)
The Tea Party is a Canadian rock band. Active throughout the 1990s and up until 2005, the band re-formed in 2011. The Tea Party released eight albums on EMI Music Canada. The band sold over three million records worldwide, including four double-platinum awards, one platinum and four gold albums in Canada. Between 1996 and 2016, The Tea Party was the 35th best-selling Canadian artist in Canada. The Tea Party toured Canada on 21 occasions and Australia on twelve.
