The Women and Equalities Committee is a select committee of the House of Commons in the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It was established following the 2015 general election to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Government Equalities Office on equalities (sex, age, race, sexual orientation, disability and transgender/gender identity) issues. Rachel Margaret Taylor is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament for North Warwickshire and Bedworth since 2024. Taylor was born and educated in Warwickshire. Rebecca Sheila Paul is a British Conservative politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Reigate since 2024. Biography Paul has worked in tax management for businesses and charities. She has worked in Parliament for Robin Millar, the MP for Aberconwy, Wales from 2019 to 2024.
